Basalt Regional Library’s new building to open in early January.

The Basalt Regional Library District is pleased to announce its new library will open on January 4, 2010 with the grand opening celebration to occur on January 9th.  Valley residents are encouraged to meet the Library Board of Trustees and Library staff at the old library at 9:00 am on January 9th and march across the bridge to the new building for the flag raising ceremony.  Treats and activities will begin immediately following the flag raising ceremony and brief remarks by dignitaries.
