Executive Director Announcement

It is our privilege to introduce Amy Shipley of Rifle, CO as the next Executive Director of BRLD. 

​Amy is a Colorado native with over 20 years of library experience on the Western Slope. She is highly regarded across the state amongst a variety of library organizations. In fact, Amy is currently preparing for two upcoming presentations at the Colorado Association of Libraries in early September. Amy is ready to launch her next chapter at BRLD on September 14th.

In her spare time, Amy enjoys fishing, hiking, and cross-country skiing. When you see her on the floor of the Library, please provide a warm welcome by introducing yourself and sharing your favorite summer read. Amy is excited to be of service to the entire BRLD community and wishes to begin a lifelong relationship with its patrons.
