Fri, Aug. 12 @ 5PM • Date Night: Dinner and a Play
Grab a date, a friend, or come by yourself to enjoy dinner alongside a fabulous new play! Fateful Love is a new work by local actress and playwright Morgan Walsh. The play examines the relationship of Georgiana Hyde Lees and WB Yeats, and how their belief in the Occult saved their marriage and informed their life together. It also explores their friendship with Dorothy and Ezra Pound and the lives of women in the early/mid 20th Century. Seating is limited for this performance, and registration is required.
Wed, Aug. 17 @ 5:30PM • Let’s Talk About It: The Final Revival of Opal and Nev
Grab your book club and a copy of The Final Revival of Opal & Nev and join Mary Fox as she leads a discussion of the 2022 AspenWords Literary Prize winning book. A faux-oral history of music, civil rights, women's rights, and personal and cultural tragedies from the early seventies through the Trump 20teens, this is a discussion you won’t want to miss.
