Create a magical unicorn wand with a colorful ribbon mane! This craft is adapted from the Tombow USA Blog. We have simplified the craft so that you can decorate the unicorn using materials you likely already have at home. Check out the original version of this craft here. Materials: Instructions: Step One: Use paint, crayons, watercolors, markers—or anything you have at home—to decorate your unicorn. Don’t forget to give it a face! Step Two: Decorate your unicorn's horn. We decided to give our unicorn a sparkly horn by covering it with a thin coat of liquid glue and then sprinkling on glitter. If you don't have glitter at home, use markers, paint, or pencils to decorate the horn with swirls or a fun pattern! Step Three: Next, hole-punch along the unicorn’s neck—we will thread ribbons through these holes to create the unicorn's mane. Make sure the holes are large enough to thread the ribbons through them! You might have to punch two holes side by side to make an opening that is large enough. Step Four: Thread your ribbons through the holes to create a fun and colorful mane. To start, fold a ribbon in half and thread the loop through the top hole, then feed the ends of the ribbon through the loop and pull gently to secure. Repeat this process until the mane is complete! Step Five: Use hot glue to attach the wand to the back of the unicorn's head. If hot glue isn’t readily available, duct tape or masking tape will also work. Your unicorn is complete!
