Adult Library Cards
So you're ready to get a Basalt Regional Library card? That's great! It's quick, easy, and FREE. Step 1: Come to the front desk at the library (we won't bite... promise!) Step 2: Fill out a very short card application (it just takes minutes) Step 3: Provide your government issued photo ID (you look great, really!) Step 4: Go home with a brand new, shiny, all access, super d duper, free library card in your choice of color (either blue/green or orange). It is seriously THAT quick and THAT easy! |

Children's Library Cards
(Requires parent or guardian at sign up) Children and teens under the age of 18 can obtain a library card by stopping by our front desk to fill out a short application. Please be sure to bring along a parent or legal guardian (who will need to have a photo ID with them) to sign as the responsible party on your account. |
Temporary Library Cards & Guest Passes
Visiting or vacationing in our area? If you'd like a temporary card that gives you access to our library materials while you're in the area, just stop in and see us at the front desk with your photo ID. Need a guest pass to access the computers while you're here? For $1.00 you can obtain a guest pass at the front desk that'll get you surfing the net on one of our public computers in minutes! |
Digital Media Library Card
Get instant access to digital materials! The digital media library card is a limited access card that provides instant access to our digital media library (ebooks, audio books, and Kanopy), and allows you to place holds on physical materials. This card does not allow you to borrow physical materials, but you can always get a regular card at any time by coming in. You must be at least 18 to apply for a digital media card. |
