BASALT REGIONAL LIBRARY'S SEED LIBRARY
A seed library's main purpose is to create a self-perpetuating supply of seeds that are acclimated to the local growing conditions, which are shared freely among the community to benefit all.
This can only be achieved when seed library users understand how to save seeds from the plants they're growing, and make a commitment to returning saved seeds to the library at the end of the growing season. It's easy. It's fun. And it's incredibly satisfying! Save your Seeds! A recording of the Sept. 27th program with Denyse Schrenker from the CSU Extension
