Telescope Lending Program

There is nothing quite like viewing the night sky through a telescope.  It's not just a learning experience that expands our understanding of the vast expanse of space in which we live, it's awe inspiring and fun too!

Whether you're borrowing for yourself, your family, or your classroom, this is an opportunity to make memories, peak curiosity, and explore new worlds.

• Loan period is ONE WEEK, is non-renewable, and carries a $5.00 per day overdue fee
• Borrowers must be at least 18 years old AND have had a Basalt Regional Library card for a minimum of one year
• A Telescope Borrowing Agreement must be completed at time of checkout
• To place a telescope on hold, please call us at 970-927-4311
